About Little Lukes
Inclusion Preschool
Little Lukes was founded on the idea of inclusivity. We have five preschool centers that use the ‘inclusion’ model, meaning children with special health needs are taught in the same classroom as typically developing children. This is not only beneficial for the child who have special health care needs, but research shows this approach is also beneficial for typically developing children. In all cases, the more socialization children are exposed to, the more they learn different interpersonal skills, such as empathy. In addition, children often benefit from watching others and learning through imitation.

Little Lukes uses the Learning Without Tears Get Set for School preschool program, a nationally recognized and awarded curriculum. This program specifically focuses on utilizing hands-on, multi-faceted, and multi-sensory activities. With a focus on six major learning domains, including sensory, social, and physical development, as well as math, writing, and literacy, children leave Little Lukes ready to think bigger, feel stronger, aim higher!
Certified and Credentialed Team
All Little Lukes teachers and therapists must be NYS certified. We deeply care about the educational and developmental progress of the children in our care. Little Lukes is a leading Syracuse and Oswego County education provider with five inclusion preschool locations. The early education program includes credentialed and caring staff that specializes in comprehensive infant, toddler and pre-kindergarten development. All Lead Teachers and Special Education Teachers are NYS certified. Additional services include pediatric speech therapy, pediatric physical therapy and pediatric occupational therapy with NYS certified therapists.
