Free or Cheap Family Fun in Upstate New York
Suns out, funs out! Now that school is out, it’s time for
the family to get out and have some fun together. Research shows that children
who spend quality time with their families have a higher reporting of
self-confidence, sense of security, and even excel further in school.
While our children are the most important things in our
lives, it is no secret that there is a lot of financial responsibility that

Activities for the Family
Destiny USA in Syracuse is hosting a free children’s event
every Tuesday of summer 2019. Every Tuesday from noon to 2pm, join Tykes Tuesday in the ‘canyon’ for complimentary fun activities. Free for children
ages 0-12. In addition to Tykes Tuesday, numerous businesses including
retailers, restaurants, and entertainment venues will be collaborating with the
Tykes Tuesday events, offering exclusive family discounts for those who attend.
Running in conjunction with Tykes Tuesday, is Regal Cinemas’ Summer Movie Express. Get tickets for just $1 every Tuesday AND Wednesday. Featuring children’s favorites all summer long, such as Shrek, Despicable Me, and Kung Fu Panda. Click here to view the movie lineup.
Day at the Beach + a Scavenger Hunt
Enjoy a day with your little ones at one of Upstate New Yorks best attractions, Lake Ontario. There are many natural beaches along the shoreline to including Fair Haven Beach and Sandy Island Beach. For an added boost of educational fun, download one of these free scavenger hunts.

Kids Bowl Free is a program designed to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun summer activity for children.
