Meet the Director: Fulton
I have been the Program Director here in Fulton since July 2019. Before I started at Little Lukes, I worked as a Program Coordinator within Syracuse City Schools overseeing caseworkers helping with at risk students for 5 years.
I have three children of my own. Aiden 14, Lily 12 & Gavin 7. The two boys play hockey and we are on the go every weekend. My daughter is involved with a youth group and loves to read and dance. All keep me on my toes, but I am going to miss this when they are all grown.
My mission at Little Lukes is to make sure every child that walks through the door each day is given the opportunity for growth and development. I believe that children learn best from hands on experiences and that is something we strive for. Making connections not only with the students, but with the parents as well is very important to me. Collaboration between the teachers and families is something that we focus on to make sure we are providing the best care we can. It is also important to me to provide a safe, loving, and trusting atmosphere where parents feel comfortable leaving their precious child with us each day.
I love Little Lukes because we are a close-knit family. All teachers and therapists go out of their way to help others whether it’s in the classroom or just to bounce ideas off of, someone is always there to lend a hand or listen. The teachers and therapists are the ones that keep this building going. Everyone is willing to step up to the plate and act as a team. The connections with the students and the teachers are remarkable. Every teacher goes above and beyond to make sure our students are receiving the best care each and every day. That is what makes Little Lukes stand out as a quality Childcare Center. We are an integrated program that have NYS certified teachers in all preschool classrooms, offer an impressive amount of up-to-date staff trainings on a regular basis and offer a nationally recognized curriculum, along with our onsite therapists.
If you are interested in enrolling your child at the Little Lukes Fulton center, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have! I can always be contacted at hhunter@Littlelukes.com or (315) 887-5250.
