The Yale University Environmental Performance Index ranks
air pollution as the #1 environmental threat to human health today. In addition
the Environmental Protection Agency states that, “Americans, on average, spend
approximately 90 percent of their time indoors, where the concentrations of
some pollutants are often 2 to 5 times higher than typical outdoor
concentrations.” By making continuous advancements with the next generation in
mind, Little Lukes is changing the meaning of daycare. Today’s children are
tomorrow’s leaders. By reducing the percentage of Allergens, Chemicals, Toxins,
Germs, Odors, and Viruses, children can spend less time at home with an
illness, allergies, or asthma and more time in preschool preparing for their
future.
