Little Lukes is not a typical childcare center. We are a NYS Approved Early Childhood Educational Institution. What does that mean? When your child attends our daycare, they are also attending a preschool educational program! Enroll your little adventurer at one of our six Central New York locations in East Syracuse, Baldwinsville, Camillus, Oswego, Fulton, and Pulaski, and give them a strong start before Kindergarten.

Every day is an adventure at Little Lukes. We’ll make sure your little explorer has a blast while learning and growing. Each classroom comes stocked with books, stuffed animals, craft supplies, sensory bins, gross motor toys, and more. Whether your child is learning to read, write, or count our NY Certified Teachers are experienced in leading age appropriate learning adventures.

Our Approach

Nationally Recognized Curriculum

While we follow a structured learning schedule, all planned activities as extremely hands-on because we believe little explorers should play to learn! We use Learning Without Tears and Conscious Discipline, both multiple award-winning curriculums and NYS approved preschool programs, so you can rest assured your preschooler is getting the most out of their pre-kindergarten education.

Play to Learn

We like to keep our learning adventures fun and vibrant, while being planned and developmentally appropriate. Your preschooler will learn through hands-on, multi-sensory, and interactive activities. We’ll guide them during their pre-kindergarten years by building early skills in number-sense, math, writing, letter awareness, language, literacy, and physical and social skills.

NYS Certified Teachers

Your child deserves an experienced field guide who knows how to navigate the classroom! National data shows that children who previously attended a quality preschool program have higher math and reading skills during their kindergarten year. That is why our teachers have their Bachelor’s Degree and NYS Certification in early childhood education and years of experience under their belts.

What’s Included in Tuition?

Each Little Lukes location has a triple door entry. All visitors must use a finger print keypad to pass through the third door or be buzzed through by our front desk staff after you have signed in. If you are new to our center an ID must also be checked.

Nutritionist Approved Meals

Each child is offered a pre-planned, nutrition balanced breakfast, lunch, and snack that was approved by a NYS dietitian. Meals change every day and rotate every 4 weeks, as part of the NYS Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
